How La Caza Cali Started
La Caza Cali grew from the kind of obsession that takes over a home before it becomes a business. Adjusting lamps at dusk to get the light right, curating corners, moving a floor lamp three times before it felt settled, noticing how one well-chosen piece could shift the entire atmosphere of a room. We're a husband and wife team who share a deep love for aesthetics, atmosphere, and intentional living, and who came to design from different directions before meeting somewhere in the middle.
To us, lighting and home décor are extensions of energy, character, and style. A home is a reflection of the people who live in it, and the objects you choose to fill it with should feel like they belong to you specifically, not like they could belong to anyone.
What We Look For
We spend months finding pieces you won't see everywhere, lamps that look as good unlit as they do switched on. Hand-blown frosted glass that softens and holds light, resin that captures warmth, brushed metals with weight you can feel. Our designs are rooted in architecture, proportion, and contemporary living, with silhouettes shaped by minimalist, Scandinavian, and industrial sensibilities that sit with a space instead of over it.
What began with sculptural floor lamps and ambient table lighting grew from a broader vision. We look for pieces that resonate with different personalities and ways of living, collections that speak to different moods, characters, and interior identities. Not everyone wants the same thing from their home, and we think the best lighting reflects that.

Michael has always been the one taking things apart to understand how they're made. From childhood, he was constantly constructing, engineering, and rebuilding, driven by curiosity and a deep appreciation for how quality objects are made. That technical mindset shapes how he evaluates every piece before it joins the collection, asking whether it's built to last, whether the proportions feel right, whether the switch has that satisfying click. He's currently developing smart home integrations for the brand, including Apple Matter and Siri compatibility, bringing the same attention to convenience that we bring to aesthetics, because beautiful spaces should also be easy to live in.
Francesca brings an eye for style that started young and never switched off. With a background in fashion and interior design, she's spent years working instinctively with shapes, colors, textures, and textiles to create spaces that feel refined, balanced, and emotionally resonant. She catches when something is slightly off before anyone else notices, and her perspective is what makes a curated collection feel considered rather than just collected.
Together, we sit at the intersection of engineering and aesthetics, where functionality meets quiet luxury. That combination shapes everything we choose to carry.
